This year at Milan Design Week, Ingo Maurer left his traditional base at Spazio Krizia for the deconsecrated church of San Paolo Converso in all its Renaissance glory. 

As Gabriela Zanon writes for Domus magazine, the opulence of the architecture provided the perfect backdrop to highlight the German designer’s 'intriguing and ironic' silhouettes.
