'We are really proud to be the first brand to present the photography of Rahi Rezvani to the world of design. Its style and beauty blends perfectly with Moooi’s new collection.'
At the Milan Furniture Fair this year, Moooi has announced its new collaboration with photographer Rahi Rezvani whose evocative images promise to transform a 1.700 square metre space filled with carefully curated design pieces absorbed into the depths of Rezvani’s artistic photography.
Highlights from the collection will include designer Jonas Forsman who joins Moooi for the first time. His work is described as creative, smart and ingenious and solving everyday issues – his foldable Shift Lounge and Dining Chairs both versatile and comfortable and also adaptable for smaller spaces. Atelier Van Lieshout has designed the Statistocrat lamps, described by Moooi as a slender, futuristic design that embraces light beams and function, and forms part of the growing strength of the Moooi lighting range. Special Editions will include Wanders’ giant rocking unicorn, Arion, made of solid wood and adorned in white embroidered leather, and the seven faces of the Monster Chair (pictured), first introduced during Marcel Wanders’ exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum last year. Plus the Moooi Carpets collection that began with the Carpet No 01 Rug by Wanders and L'Afrique Carpet Rug by Studio Job. The new range will include pieces designed by well known names in the world of design, art and photography, so stay tuned for more.
