This year Moooi connects virtually, giving everyone, no matter where you are in the world, an online tour of their Milan showroom featuring all the irony we love to see at Moooi... and below the 2012 collection in detail. Container Table New Antiques by Marcel Wanders

The Container Table series draws on antique patterns and traditional forms in a fusion of past and present. Made from polyethylene with stainless steel inserts, the foot is filled with sand or water to create extra stability. The tops are available in three different materials to match, in black, white, grey and brown.

Altdeutsche furniture by Studio Job

In a tighter Moooi collection than 2011, Studio Job launched the Altdeutsche furniture collection described by Nynke Tynagel and Job Smeets as "translating old German hand-painted pieces into playful and happy designs for today's interiors'. Roses, sculls, keys and feathers adorn the cupboard, blanket chest and grandfather clock that are made from solid pine, stained white and hand painted.

Delft Blue Jumper (and grey Jumper) sofa and cushion covers by Marcel Wanders

Another piece for the Boutique sofa collection's wardrobe, the Delft Jumper collection in Blue and Grey is 'knitted' from Kvadrat Divina fabric which is warm and inviting.

Valentine and Baby Valentine by Marcel Wanders

A new direction in lighting at Moooi, away from crafty and cute to sparkly and glamorous, Valentine is made from crystal clear-blown glass with chromed, gold-plated (or lacquered) shade with a transparent cord and steel cable suspension lamp.

Pieces from the 2012 collection will be available from Space Australia, Singapore and Malaysia later this year.
