A LIFE INDIVIDUAL
Every home is special and one of the privileges of our business is being invited into our client’s homes. We believe that our clients are all individual, a diverse collection of people, each with their own unique sense of style. What connects them is the desire to surround themselves with beautiful objects and pieces of design.
A Life Individual is a collaboration between Space and our clients who have generously invited us into their homes to share with you a snapshot of their real lives.
Each image tells a story about who our clients are, how they like to live and how their collection of furniture has helped them to create and define their personal unique space. The result is a wonderful collection of interiors which burst with the energy and personality of each of our clients. Thank to our clients who so generously offered their time and for sharing their beautiful homes with all of us, and to The Design Files who have collaborated with us on our latest series.

Each room of our home is individual so we can retreat to find our own space. It is an oasis. One of our favourite pieces of furniture is the Bend sofa. I know my Sarah likes it because it's bouncy but for me it's unique. It's functional and casual and reflects the way we live.
Our house is our space, a reflection of us and a haven from a busy working life. We fill it with laughter, family, friends and quiet times too. Our furniture needs to blend in with the elegance of 1930's architecture, but at the same time be warm and inviting to strike a perfect balance of luxury and comfort.
Design definitely enriches my day-to-day life and having a house of our own that's designed is a softer way of living, a calmer way of living. Our home is elegantly understated and it is enjoyable to be in.
My apartment is cluttered but curated. I don't like an empty home. I want to live and breathe design from the moment I wake each morning. When friends come over I love to see their surprise, to feel the mystery of all these objects. I see my collection as a library of thoughts.
We strived for a home that wasn't complete at the start but something that could be extended, refined and finished over time. It's a blank canvas so it is the furniture which reflects the way we live in this house.
I love this room, it is eclectic with lots of memories. The Mongolian fur armchairs are some of my favourite pieces because they tell a story of the designer watching his wife lacing her corset. We live in this incredible universe that has so much beauty and design inherent in it, by expressing that in both the small and large parts of your day you can have a joyful life.
Home is a creative retreat for me, a place where I can watch the seasons flow. I enjoy the contrasting textures of my favourite pieces, the balance of soft silk rugs and upholstery, with bronze, stone and wood. The elements combine to make my apartment nurturing and calm, allowing me to think and recharge.
